Responsible AI governance: built for teams who answer to regulators, quality, and the brand

Right now, someone on your team is running a regulated claim through an AI tool.

Maybe it is a product description. Maybe it is a data summary for a sales deck. The output looks clean, so it ships. And somewhere down the line a client, an auditor, or your own quality lead asks the question that decides everything: how was this governed?

If the answer is a shrug, you have a problem. In life sciences, an ungoverned AI process is a live risk sitting inside your marketing stack. We built Strivenn so that the answer is never a shrug.

We treat AI governance as infrastructure. It runs underneath everything we make for you, and it is built so you can show your working to anyone who asks.

Six principles, applied every time

Our governance follows the international standard for AI management systems, ISO/IEC 42001. Six principles shape every model, prompt, and process we put to work.

  • We explain our outputs. You can see how a model reached a result, in language a non-technical stakeholder understands.
  • Someone owns every output. Each AI process has a named person who signs it off before it reaches you.
  • We test for bias. We check inputs and outputs for skew, and we document what we find.
  • We protect people and systems. Security and safety controls guard against foreseeable harm.
  • We respect your data. We use lawful, accurate data and handle it to the standard your regulatory team already expects.
  • We keep it reliable. The systems we run behave consistently, and we monitor them so they keep doing so.

We find risk early

We do not wait for an AI process to fail in front of a client. We assess each use case before it goes live, rank the risks, and apply the controls that matter most.

Low-stakes automation gets a light touch. Anything that touches a claim, scientific data, or outcome gets the full review. That triage keeps governance proportionate, so you get speed where speed is safe and scrutiny where scrutiny is non-negotiable.

Governance as a live loop

ISO 42001 is built on a continuous cycle, Plan-Do-Check-Act. We run it on every engagement, so governance stays alive as your AI use grows.

  • Plan. Set the goal, map the AI touchpoints, identify the risks before any build starts.
  • Do. Implement the process with safeguards and human checkpoints built in.
  • Check. Audit the outputs, measure performance, log what the system actually did.
  • Act. Refine on what we learned, then feed it into the next cycle.

This is governance as a living practice. It scales as fast as your ambition does.

Trained and certified by BSI

Matt Wilkinson, our founder, holds the BSI ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management Practitioner credential. He sat the BSI training, passed the assessment, and holds the certification, credential ID PQ-00286668. To the best of our knowledge, Strivenn is the only life science marketing consultancy with a BSI-certified ISO 42001 practitioner on the team.

The credential sits with Matt, the person who sets how we govern. When your quality team asks who trained the people handling your AI, there is a name, a number, and a certificate.

Championing Responsible AI

As a BSI AI Management Practitioner, Matt is equipped to implement the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 framework, conduct AI System Impact Assessments, and deploy best-practice risk controls, backed by the internationally recognised BSI Mark of Trust.

Your data never trains a model

This is the clearest promise on the page. The voice-of-customer data, proprietary inputs, and client material you share with us are never used to train AI models. Not ours, not a vendor's, not anyone's.

We configure every AI tool we use so your inputs are excluded from model training. Your data does the job you hired it for, then it stays yours. It does not quietly become training fuel for a system that serves your competitor next quarter.

See where your AI stands

You started reading because someone, somewhere, will ask how your AI is governed. The fastest way to answer them is to find the gaps first.

Check where your marketing AI sits today, what it exposes you to, and what to fix first. You leave with something you can defend internally.
